Drummer Simon Kirke kept the beat as a founding member of two of the 70's most popular bluesy hard rocker bands - Free and Bad Company. A multi-instrumentalist, Simon is best known for his loose, yet powerful back-beat drumming and for co-writing hits like, "All Right Now," "Can't Get Enough," "Bad Company" and "Ready for Love," with longtime bandmate and singer, Paul Rodgers (above, right). Though Simon is often found out on the road touring with Bad Company or Ringo's Starr & His All-Star Band, he continues to be a prolific singer-songwriter and storyteller, recording and performing inspiring fresh material from his new solo album, "All Because of You" (BMG Records 2016) and a brand-new record, "Attitude," by his new project Lonerider (Escape Music 2019).
"Still amazing to see all the support for one of my first bands, Free! Watch the full video of 'Ride On Pony' Live from 'Free - Doing Their Thing (1970)' on and be ready for more releases of official archival footage!" -Simon

LONERIDER - "ATTITUDE"
A new album featuring simon kirke
Every once in a while a new recording comes along with a line-up that makes your spine tingle, and here it is; “Attitude” by Lonerider. Not only does this quintet feature Steve Overland (FM, Solo, Shadowman), Steve Morris (Heartland, Shadowman) and Chris Childs (Thunder) but legendary drummer Simon Kirke of Free and Bad Company fame. With Brain J Anthony finishing the line-up we have a real force to be reckoned with. Simon's drumming style is unmistakeable and shines through on all of the tracks (and an extra four on the LP version!).
